What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is healthcare designed by Doctors.  DPC is a direct relationship between patient and doctor without a middle man.  It's membership-based medicine.  It is not health insurance. The model is easy to understand:  you have a low monthly membership fee in exchange for your Doctor's time and talents.  It's that simple!
​In DPC we do not use health insurance for your Primary Care, it's not necessary!  You don't need insurance for inexpensive things.  Primary Care, which is the bulk of your healthcare needs, is not expensive.

Direct Primary Care. How does it work?
"You don't need insurance for inexpensive things." About 85% of your healthcare needs across the lifespan can be considered Primary Care.  Primary Care is not expensive. Without the middle man it's quite inexpensive.  DPC has a monthly membership fee like you would with streaming music, TV, phone service, or the gym. Membership gives you access & care from your Doctor.  Doctor visits do not cost you any more than your membership.  No matter how often you need to see your Doctor the price is the same. No copay or deductibles to worry about.  Membership also gives you access to discounts on Primary Care Procedures, lab work (blood tests), imaging (X-Rays etc) and medications.  Access, care, and savings is what DPC offers you.
