How to become a patient in the practice:  if Dr. McGann has not previously been your personal physician you will need to come to the office for a "meet and greet."  It's free but it's by appointment only.  Here you will meet the doctor, learn about Direct Primary Care, have your questions answered and ensure that we are able to meet your Primary Care needs.  (This is not a Doctor visit- we do not address medical problems on this informational visit.)  Signing up for membership is then a fast and simple process!  If you have any questions please call our office at 318-393-5980.
​Memberships are billed monthly by Autopay only.  
There is a registration fee of $100 per person.  Non-refundable.  Maximum registration for families is $250.

1 The Direct Primary Care Membership.
Enjoy all of what DPC is supposed to be! Best for those who have medical problems and typically need to see the doctor more than once or twice per year.  Dr. McGann recommends this membership, a true DPC experience!
Cost: $99 per month.

• All the office visits you and your doctor decide you need for no additional fees!
• Easy access to appointments available. No wait, no copay.
• All in-office procedures Dr. McGann is able to perform are included for free. (stitches, casts, splints, etc. Please refer to our procedure list)
• Simple office procedures included for free: like joint injections, trigger point injections, moles, skin tags, freeze therapy. (You do have to pay for medications).
• Free in office EKG, breathing treatments, and injections (You do have to pay for medicines).
• Email with your personal Physician.
• Text message directly with your Doctor!
• Access to video conference directly with your Doctor! (IF appropriate!)
• Some after hours access directly to your doctor. (Evenings, weekends.)
• Access to discounted lab services.
• Access to discounted imaging services.
• Access to wholesale medication prices for medicines commonly prescribed by Dr. McGann.

2   Premium DPC Membership.
Best for those who have multiple medical problems, serious medical problems, multiple medications. Those who need the doctor a lot, those who need quick access to their doctor.

• It does include an additional fee but home visits are available with Premium DPC. This if for the significantly ill only and is decided on a case by case basis.

3  DPC for College Students.
Cost: $75 per month
Requires a Meet & Greet  (2023)
Features:

• The Direct Primary Care membership at a discounted rate for College student.
• Video visits with your own doctor when you are away at college.
• Text and phone chat with your doctor is available as well.
• In office available when you are home.
• For College / University students only.
• For ages 17 to 26 years old only.
• Meet and Greet available to answer questions!
• *Note Dr. McGann is a Louisiana Licensed Physician only.  This is available to residents of Louisiana.

There is a registration fee of $100. Non-refundable. Maximum of $250 for families.

Cancellation Policy. We want you to be satisfied with your membership. Membership is billed by auto-pay to your bank or credit card on a monthly basis. You may cancel it at any time. You are not locked in to any contract and there are no penalties for cancellation. However, if you cancel your membership and then wish to re-establish care in the future, this will involve new registration fees.  Re-establishing membership is decided on a case by case basis. There is no guarantee that you will be able to re-establish membership.

Termination Policy. The doctor has the right, and some times the obligation, to terminate your membership at any time. These instances are rare. Doctor-patient relationships are usually terminated due to abusive, inappropriate, or dangerous behavior, language, or actions on the part of the patient towards the doctor or the staff. The doctor may also terminate your membership simply because they are not able to meet your medical needs and/or you need a higher level of care. In that situation it is best to be under the care of a different physician, specialist, or sub-specialist.  Terminated memberships can not be re-instated.
