Family First DPC protocol for Covid-19 Global Pandemic: YES: We have the Corona virus test available locally. 1- If you are sick stay home! 2- If you need a Doctor I would like all of my patients to contact me first: Please text message me or call me. 3-Try not to go to ER or UC: you don't want to be exposed and you don't want to expose others. Call me for help. 4- I will help you over the phone, or text, or most likely Telemedicine- video visits. (If you don't have my Spruce Health app please call me and let's set that up for you!) 5- If you need a test I will get it done for you. My office and myself must not be exposed: please follow the protocol and keep me out of quarantine so I can serve as many people as possible! 6- After we obtain the sample from you for the test go home and stay there until you hear from me. 7- If you are well we will communicate regularly. If you are ill I will arrange the next step in your care. 8- All at risk people should minimize exposure and consider telemedicine visits (Video visits) with me for the time being. |

What I would like my patients to watch for: 1- Most people with corona virus will have mild symptoms. 2-At risk people should pay attention more carefully. 3- If corona virus makes you ill it's because it causes Covid-19, which is a type of pneumonia. 4- The primary symptoms to watch for are fever and and worsening chest symptoms: cough, shortness of breath, and difficulty breathing. 5- Here's more help: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html |
